Do you crave a position where you will work independently, while still giving back to the community? In our CAS Assessor position, you’ll schedule your home and community visits and will be making a difference in the lives of the individuals, families and communities of the people you work with.
In this role, you will perform person-centered CAS (Coordinated Assessment System) assessments with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, to determine each individual’s strengths, needs and interests. The CAS looks at all areas of a person’s life, such as the person’s living skills, health, behavior, and supports.
Assessments are completed both in-person and virtually. Travel is based on your location and may include neighboring counties.
Common Regions:
Days/Hours: Full time, 40 hours weekly.
Schedules will vary weekly and will include evening and weekend work. Reliability and flexibility are required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Salary: $26 – 28.25/hr, depending on benefits elected.
Travel: Assessors must be willing to travel up to 5 days per week, within a 2 hour radius from their home. However currently, most employees are only traveling 2 days per week or less.
