For employees that are hired for temporary or temp to hire roles these benefits are available for the duration of your assignment. For temp to hire and placements directly with our clients, please ask your recruiter for more information about client benefits as they will vary.

2025 Benefits: Med-Scribe is committed to supporting our valued employees in every way possible. With this in mind, we are proud to announce that for the upcoming year we have elected to absorb the majority of the increased costs for health insurance.  

For the 2025 plan year Med-Scribe will offer health insurance through MVP. Dental and vision insurance is offered through Excellus. HSA is offered through Optum. Pet Insurance is offered through Nationwide. 

You may want to consider whether the NYS marketplace offers for affordable options, particularly if you plan to enroll family members – options may be less expensive. You can find out more here: https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/ 

Time Off

PTO: 1 hour of PTO earned for every 30 hours worked, available for use immediately

Vacation: Every year on your employment anniversary you will receive a check for 2 weeks of your average pay, to be designated as a vacation check. The money can be used for any purpose, including taking time off that may not be covered by a PTO balance.

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day 

Office Closures:  (Float Staff ONLY)

When offices are closed early or completely, employees will receive a full day of pay.

Retirement:

401K is available after 1 year of employment.

Employees can choose between ROTH or regular contributions, to be deducted from pay automatically.

Med-Scribe offers a 100% match for contributions up to 3% of pay,  plus a 50% match for contributions up to 5% of pay.
