In this role, you will be responsible for well and sick child visits: obtaining patients histories; taking vitals, heights and weights; administering immunizations; assisting providers with routine office procedures as needed; preparing prescriptions to be sent to pharmacies; triaging; and any other duties under the legal scope of practice of the nurse as assigned.

You will be scheduled approximately 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday – 4 days a week with a day off during the week! Candidates must be flexible to work evening hours once a week and 2 Saturday’s and 1 Sunday a month. Saturday and Sunday offer premium pay!

Qualified candidates will hold an active NYS RN. Previous nursing experience and experience working a Pediatric population, within an office setting is preferred.  Basic keyboarding, EMR, and computer skills, and ability to multi-task are a must!  Medent experience is a plus.  You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

Rooming patients.

Record a patient’s medical history accurately

Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.

Requirements:

LPN experience with medical office and or outpatient setting.

Any experience with injections is highly preferred.

We are conducting searches for an exceptional LPN’s to work within Internal Medicine office in the Brighton area. Full-time, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In this role you will be a VIP in the lives of the patients of your practice. Your duties will include both clinical and administrative functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care utilizing your strong communication skills in a fast-paced setting.  Job duties will include both clinical and administrative functions: rooming patients, documenting the visit, administering medications and injections, conducting minor lab testing and other related duties as assigned.

This will be full time, temp to hire position working weekdays, Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, no evenings, weekends or holidays!

For 40 years, our client has partnered with federal, state and local governments to make public health insurance programs run effectively for the individuals and families they serve.  They are the national leader in providing government health plan enrollees and providers with independent appeal decisions of health insurance denials.  Today, they receive more than 600,000 Medicare appeals claims a year!

In this role, you will be preparing written reviews for clinical reviewers for claims that have been paid. You will extract the pertinent information that will support or conflict with the stated allegation. You will assess the quality of the completed reviews and any other related duties as assigned. This is a deadline-driven environment.  Strong analytical and writing skills are required. This is a full time, temp to hire opening. Upon hire, this position may allow for some remote work!

Days and hours: Monday-Friday: 40 hours per week. Occasional Saturday as needed. (Approximately once every 2 months)

Salary: $27/hour.

Minimum Qualifications: You must have a valid NYS Nursing license and a minimum typing speed of 35wpm is also required.  Ability to quickly learn multiple database systems and comfortably manage multiple screens at the same time and proficiency with MS Word. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Ability to independently manage workflow. 2 years of related experience, general medical care of patients and/or home health. Experience in general medical care of patients.
