We have an immediate need for multiple LPN’s to work a temporary assignment at a prestigious Internal Medicine clinic in Buffalo, NY! These are urgent openings paying $20/hr. and are anticipated to last at least 2 months, potentially longer if needed.

You will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals and histories, administering injections and/or immunizations, communicating plan of care to patients, ensuring the EMR is updated with correct records and information before and after patient appointments, assisting physicians with patient exams and procedures, and any other duties as needed. This clinic sees both pediatric and adult patients.

The hours are full-time, Monday through Friday, any 8-hour shift between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. There is one required late-night shift on Thursday’s when the clinic is open until 8:00 PM.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have a NYS LPN license and at least 1-2 years experience, with outpatient exp. preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop, manage, coordinate and administer the organization’s Social Work programs, functions and services.

Minimum qualifications:

Seven (7) total years of full-time experience in clinical medical Social Work
Five (5) years in social work administration and department management including direct supervision of staff and programs and program development

Experience in a hospital-based setting with crisis management, ethics intervention, and clinical and administrative supervision
Knowledge of the case management process, experience with individual counseling and demonstrated ability to develop a strong network of community contacts

In this role, your primary duties will be reviewing and analyzing Independent medical review applications for worker’s compensation to determine eligibility, and determine the appropriate medical expert to complete the review of the case. We are seeking candidates with the ability to identify various medical records, use critical thinking skills in the evaluation of medical records, and accurately input data into the system.

Candidates must reside in New York State!

Days/Hours: Monday through Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Salary: $17.50/hour

Minimum Qualifications for this position include:

Associates degree preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively using telephone, email, and IM.
Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
Previous medical claims or transcription experience preferred.
Must have accurate data entry and proofreading skills.

Internet Requirements for position: Broadband/Cable internet is required with 80 megabits per second download capability and 3-5 megabits per second upload capability. Satellite internet is not an acceptable service provider for this project. Direct connection to a modem is highly recommended instead of WiFi.
