In this role, your primary duties will be reviewing and analyzing Independent medical review applications for worker’s compensation to determine eligibility, and determine the appropriate medical expert to complete the review of the case. We are seeking candidates with the ability to identify various medical records, use critical thinking skills in the evaluation of medical records, and accurately input data into the system.

Candidates must reside in New York State!

Days/HoursMonday through Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Salary: $17.50/hour

Minimum Qualifications for this position include:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using telephone, email, and IM.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Previous medical claims or transcription experience preferred.
  • Must have accurate data entry and proofreading skills.

Internet Requirements for position: Broadband/Cable internet is required with 80 megabits per second download capability and 3-5 megabits per second upload capability. Satellite internet is not an acceptable service provider for this project. Direct connection to a modem is highly recommended instead of WiFi. Equipment and project information must be in a secure location, behind a closed door.
