#011319 Medical Secretary 

This client is seeking a part-time candidate for a temp to hire position; Monday, Wednesday and Friday with rotation for a Wednesday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and bi-weekly Saturdays. This is a great opportunity for experienced medical secretary/receptionist to join a growing practice that provides the highest level of quality care to their patients. Your experience within a private doctor’s office will allow you to function within a fast-paced private practice setting.

Duties to include but not limited to: responsible for answering incoming telephone calls within the call center of a medical office setting, greeting and assisting patients, patient registration and checkout, appointment scheduling, medical record management and any other duties as assigned by the manager.

Hours: 8:30 to 4:30 for 20/hrs. per  week 8 hours days on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and rotate into a late Wednesday (12:00 pm to 8:00 pm) with a Saturday morning (4 hours) once a month.

Qualification/Experience: High School diploma and one to two years related work experience in pediatric office highly preferred or Urgent Care setting required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical terminology required and EMR experience helpful.
