We are seeking a candidate with a strong clinical background to work as an Ophthalmic Technician with one of Rochester’s largest healthcare organizations.
Job duties include rooming patients, obtaining medical and ocular histories, conducting visual field tests, taking fundus photos and eye pressures, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, setting up instruments for minor procedures, and other related duties as assigned. You have the opportunity to work closely with patients, learn constantly and gain hands-on experience with the latest technology.
Salary is $15-23/hour, depending on experience and includes an excellent benefits package, upon hire by the client. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and a 401K!
Enjoy working day hours, Monday through Friday between 7:45AM-5:30PM – no evenings, weekends or on-call!
Prior ophthalmic experience is highly preferred, though candidates with strong clinical/optical backgrounds may also be considered!
