We are seeking an exceptional Medical Assistant with a passion for working with Pediatrics to join an established practice centrally located in the Rochester area!

In this role, you would be working mainly in a clinical capacity, and providing backup to the front desk, as needed. Candidates will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, heights and weights, and other related duties under the legal scope of practice of a Medical Assistant. On the clerical end, duties will include but not be limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out.

Days/ Hours: This position can be either part-time or full-time, 4-5 days/ week, Monday through Friday, any 8 hour shift as scheduled between 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM with every third Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Salary: dependent on experience. Benefits include health insurance plan, two weeks’ vacation, basic holidays, sick time and a 401/K!

Minimum Qualifications: Prior Pediatric and MedEnt experience is a plus! New grads will be considered. Certification or associates degree in medical assisting required. Must be able to carry scales and be on your feet in a fast paced environment.

We are partnering with a prestigious acute care facility to find an experienced SW clinical leader for this direct hire role.This excellent opportunity is full-time, Monday through Friday with a pay rate between $89,574- $113,225 with state benefits.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, manage, coordinate and administer the organization’s Social Work programs, functions and services.
  • Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA), New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other regulatory agencies.
  • Overseeing around 25 employees, students and contract workers.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Valid NYS license and current registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited facility
  • Seven (7) total years of full-time experience in clinical medical Social Work
  • Five (5) years in social work administration and department management including direct supervision of staff and programs and program development

Highly preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a hospital-based setting with crisis management, ethics intervention, and clinical and administrative supervision
  • Knowledge of the case management process, experience with individual counseling and demonstrated ability to develop a strong network of community contacts
