Med-Scribe, Inc. is searching for candidates with healthcare experience and medical terminology to review medical records and prepare documents for review. Are you seeking a good work-life balance? This position allows you to work out of the comfort of your own home!  This is a temporary indefinite assignment, anticipated to last approximately 4-6 months, with the potential to become permanent.

In this role, your primary duties will be reviewing and indexing medical records.  We are seeking candidates with the ability to identify various medical records, use critical thinking skills in the evaluation of medical records, and accurately input data into the system. You will be required to travel to the Rochester office for the first day to pick up your equipment and go through orientation. At the end of the assignment, you will be required to return your equipment.

Days/Hours: Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary: $16.50/hour

Minimum Qualifications for this position include: Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Ability to communicate effectively using telephone, email, and IM.  Accurate data entry skills, proofreading skills, and the ability to type at least 50 words per minute.  Previous medical records or worker’s compensation experience preferred.   Broadband/Cable internet is required with 20 mbps Download/3-5 mbps Upload capability with direct connection to a modem where equipment and project information can be secured behind a closing door.
