Med-Scribe, Inc. recruits the best and brightest talent for healthcare. We are currently recruiting for highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Representatives for upcoming opportunities with a professional group in downtown Manhattan!

Working as an Inbound Customer Service Representative, your primary duty is to provide first-rate customer service support through activities such as answering callers, responding to external customer questions and documenting call content in real time. Calls concern medical insurance queries; respect and patience is a job requirement. After training, you will respond to queries concerning eligibility, and enrollment services.

Job Description:

You will be responding to customer inquiries by phone, Interactive Voice Response or through a web based portal to provide information regarding various programs and services offered. You will be responsible for recording all customer interactions and transactions, following standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency, accurate data entry, and any other related duties as assigned!

Salary: $15/hour – Bilingual English/Spanish candidates

Days/Hours:

Full-Time – 40 hours/week

Candidates must have the flexibility to work any 8 hour shift, Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00PM

Training Hours: Monday – Friday, for approximately 4 weeks: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification required
Spanish Speaking required.

Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish fluently.
Minimum one year of previous experience in customer service, preferably in a Call Center, human services, health care or service-related field.
Understanding of the needs and problems of disadvantaged populations.
Must be proficient with data entry and telephone skills; previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
