A specialty practice in the Penfield area is seeking an Appointment Secretary. You will serve as the initial point of contact in establishing new patients for the practice. Working in a team of 4 in a call center environment, your primary job duties will include, but not be limited to: answering a multi-line phone system, taking approximately 50-75 calls per day, screening patients for the practice, entering demographic and insurance information into the system, sending out informational packets, and any other related duties as assigned.
This is a direct hire position. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM. Schedules rotate every 4 weeks: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Enjoy the work-life balance of having nights and weekends free!
Salary is $12 per hour. Benefits upon hire include health insurance, paid holidays, and a 401K with 25% employer match!
Minimum Qualifications: Accurate data entry skills with a speed of at least 8,000 KSPH. Ability to multitask is a must! At least 6 months prior call center experience highly preferred. Experience in handling a high volume of incoming calls; must be able to take 50-75 calls per day.
