We are seeking a committed and compassionate candidate with prior healthcare experience for a great role within a growing company in Rochester. In this role, you will request and obtain insurance prior authorizations complex rehab equipment orders. You will be responsible for conducting insurance benefit and eligibility verifications and ensuring that billing codes are accurate. Heavy phone and email interaction with insurance companies are essential as you gather and review all necessary documentation in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
If you have prior experience working with various medical insurances, payers and authorizations and take pride in your superior customer service approach, this may be the perfect fit for you! An AAS degree and minimum of two years of healthcare experience are required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook; the ability to think quick-on-your-feet and ability to multitask, are also required.
Salary is up to $17/hour and offers a comprehensive benefits package upon hire, including health, dental and vision! Days and hours are Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work any 8-hour shift between 7:30AM-5:00PM.
