Medical Scribing is a fast-growing industry and a crucial part to ensuring smooth patient flow and personalized high-quality care to each patient. In this role, you will accompany the physician during patient interviews and examinations to document in live-time pertinent information pertaining to the patient and their care. The information you will be typing into the EMR program, Allscripts, will include patient vitals, history, physical exam, plan of care, procedures, and any additional information requested by the provider.
This is a part-time, temporary indefinite opportunity in an OBGYN clinic Williamsville, NY. The current schedule will be for Friday’s only with a potential for additional hours / days as needed. This position will pay $15 an hour.
Minimum Qualifications: Prior Medical Scribe / Transcriptionist experience is required along with fast and accurate typing skills. Previous experience with EMR required; Allscripts highly preferred.
