Med-Scribe, Inc. recruits the best and brightest talent for healthcare! A busy outpatient Mental Health practice is seeking a proficient medical scribe to support one of their providers. The right candidate will be traveling to both office locations to assist the doctor on-site.
In this role, the duties will include, but are not be limited to collaborating with the doctor, opening and starting clinical notes during patient visit, transcribing the doctor’s verbally recorded notes into the electronic medical record (EMR) system, and any other duties as assigned.
The salary is $15 per hour. This is a part-time, temp to hire opportunity. Paid time off will be prorated.
Days and hours: Monday and Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM in Farmington for a total of 8 hours per week. Tuesday from 8 AM to 12 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM in the Downtown Rochester for a total of 12 hours per week. Candidates must be flexible for any schedule changes as needed. This will accumulate to approximately 20 hours per week.
Prior medical scribe/ transcription experience is highly preferred. Working knowledge of medical terminology and EMR is required. New graduates will be considered. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to both locations.
