Med-Scribe, Inc. is seeking a friendly, compassionate, skilled Wound Care Nurse for Direct hire Full-time Monday to Friday with 4 weeks’ vacation to start in the Monroe County area.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of associated programs and staff education in the care of clients. This responsibility will include participation in the screening applicants, orientation, education, and evaluation of specialty nursing staff and ensuring that quality patient care is delivered efficiently. Also provides clinical nursing leadership in area of specialty to the agency professional staff.

Hours: Monday to Friday standard hours 8a or 8:30 – 5p with flexibility to work beyond 5 pm as needed depending on emergent issues.

Salary: negotiable for exp. plus excellent benefits; Health, Dental, Life and Pet Insurance, Flex Spending Account, paid vacation and paid sick time, and Tuition reimbursement just to name a few.

Qualifications/Experience: Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse highly preferred.

Requires a valid NYS RN license and satisfactory completion of a WOCN accredited Nursing Education Program.

A minimum of 2 years acute care experience as an RN required.

Certified Home Health Agency RN experience preferred; Current board certification in CWOCN.

Must demonstrate solid interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.

Basic computer skills are necessary, including but not limited to the ability to navigate on a personal computer within a Windows based operating environment; the ability to access and create basic e-mail messages; and the ability to open, edit, and save basic electronic documents if necessary.
