This is an immediate need for qualified RNs for Utilization Review positions in Rochester, NY!  Our client will provide on the job training and help you add valuable experience to your skill set!  Not sure if Utilization Review is your cup of tea?  We are seeking candidates that can commit at least through March 2019, though there is high temp-to-hire potential!

Utilization review is used to help ensure that individuals receive health services that are medically relevant and cost effective.  As a Utilization Review Nurse, your primary job duties would include reviewing pending Medicare claims for clinical appropriateness of service and making recommendations for approval or denial of services within established time frames.  This will include a great amount of phone and computer work.  You will apply your clinical acumen and follow the provided criteria and guidelines to reviews.

Qualified candidates will have an active RN license within NY and 4+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.

Salary: $30-38/hr., based on experience

These are full time positions, Monday through Friday – work the schedule that is best for you: 8:00AM-4:30PM or 8:30AM-5:00PM, with potential Saturday morning shifts once every 4-6 weeks.  There is even the potential to work from home 2 days/week and during inclement weather, once fully trained.
