This is a very exciting opportunity to develop a QA program for a NYS sponsored program serving the needs of children/behavioral health population.

In this role you will provide oversight to the entire quality program for the organization. You will develop an effective quality program to provide the training and oversight to ensure that quality UAS-CANS-NY reviews are being performed effectively and correctly by field staff. You will be responsible to provide training in response to identified quality initiatives and program changes. You will develop and provide reporting for outcomes. You will mentor and supervise the QA Co-ordinators with the tools and training to perform effective review of assessments performed by field staff. 

Minimum Qualifications for this position: A Bachelor’s in nursing and a Master’s Degree in a health, or social services field from an accredited college or university

Required Licensure: Current RN licensure in New York State

Required Experience: 2 or more years of work experience in psychiatric, behavioral health or community healthcare; prior work experience in Quality Assurance in a clinical setting; and prior work experience as a Nurse Educator.

Preferred Experience: Managerial work experience in Quality Assurance and risk management; work experience with UAS-CANS-NY

Required Skills: Ability to develop and implement effective presentations; strong leadership skills; ability to conduct and manage project reviews and communicate process improvement recommendations; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (including, but not limited to, Excel, Word and PowerPoint); excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

Other:  Travel required; NY State Driver’s license required
