These are full-time temporary to hire opportunities. You will be trained to perform outreach to patients based on data mined from electronic medical records. You must be proficient in Excel to the extent of manipulating the database, not creating formulas. In this role you will perform phone calls to patients from a central Henrietta location. Medical Secretaries seeking a more “behind the scenes” position may find this to be rewarding work. You will be aiding patients to improve their health outcomes by ensuring they are receiving optimal preventative care and services.
Monday to Friday; full-time 8:00 to 4:30pm.
Location is Henrietta/Brighton.

Minimum Qualifications: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience is required. Experience: One year working experience in an outpatient primary care environment is preferred. Knowledge of practice operations and procedures with the ability to effectively answer questions. Required Skills: Ability to use multi-line phone system, including transferring calls and paging. Ability to speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard by callers and patients. Ability to understand downtime procedures and notify as appropriate. Ability to establish and maintain professional interpersonal interactions with patients, families, physicians, supervisors and coworkers. EMR skills (with training). Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook is required and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
