RN Chart Review- Victor and King of Prussia, PA, and Rochester, NY
GREAT FLEXIBLE JOB, GREAT NURSES TO WORK WITH!!! Do you enjoy the administrative side of health-care? Do you have experience with quality assurance, case management or chart review? If you enjoy the legal side of health-care, and are an excellent communicator, this may be your ideal position. In this role you would review the contractual obligations of the insurance company to the evidence in the medical records to be sure that the claim was correctly handled. You will spend a significant time reading records, researching relevant contract requirements and writing letters to the claimant. You will work with attorneys and other nurses to prepare cases for further review. Knowledge of Medicare is preferred. Typing and excellent proof-reading, as well as computer skills are needed. Cardio-pulmonary Community Health Nurse. Work days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Administer professional nursing care to patients in the home setting. RN Wound Care
RN Direct hire Full-time Monday to Friday with 4 weeks’ vacation to start. The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of associated programs and staff education in the care of clients. This responsibility to include participation in the screening applicants, orientation, education, and evaluation of specialty nursing staff, and ensuring that quality patient care is delivered efficiently. Also provides clinical nursing leadership in area of specialty to the agency professional staff. Experience as a Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse preferred. Requires a valid NYS RN license and satisfactory completion of a WOCN accredited Nursing Education Program. A minimum of 2 years acute care experience as an RN required. Home Care Co-ordinator
Work in an acute setting, weekdays, arranging for home care services. Strong interpersonal skills required. The Home Care Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of clinical services between home care and the hospital acute care environment, when the patient’s care is being transferred to home setting. Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities: 1.Act as home care resource to hospital or agency personnel regarding care, treatments and services that can be provided in the home setting. 2.Evaluates the needs and care resources for each patient referred for home care services, including an assessment of the suitability of the patient’s home environment for safely providing care. 3. Obtains physician orders for home care services prior to each patient’s admission to home care. 4. Coordinates the home care plan, assuring that services are available as ordered by the physician. 5.Documents each patient’s home care plan and coordination activities according to established standards and by the hospital or agency where assigned. 6.Provides information for hospital or agency staff members regarding the effectiveness of care. 7.Maintains and reports statistics regarding referral activity on a monthly basis. 8.Facilitates communication between the hospital and the agency; identifying and reporting processes in the system where communication and/or continuity of care can be improved. 9.Practices according to Agency and community standards of practice. 10. RN Triage Weekend Supervisor to perform triage of clinical patient situation for home care patients. Job Description: Act as resource in providing first line response to calls from the answering service or Field Clinicians. Provide supervision to Nursing personnel as needed during after hours. This busy practice provides gynecological and obstetrical care using a health care team including doctors, nurse practitioner, nurse mid wife, nurses, massage therapist, esthetician and other integral professional and office personnel.A newly licensed RN will be considered, more experience is a plus!
